Sooner or later, the day comes when you can’t hide from the things you’ve done anymore
Saturday, November 25th, 2006Those were Commander Adama’s words during the Galactica’s decommissioning ceremony. There are many wrongs that we did in the past. Some are out in the open, and some are hidden, hopefully never to be found out.
Especially if the wrongs you did affected other people. Karma is something that we should not mess with. Even more so if it involved other people’s livelihood. It might come tomorrow, it might come during your dying moments. It might even affect your next generation.
Too bad though, many Malaysians like to mess up with their own karma. Doing things that are good for themselves, and not realising that they deny others of their rightful share. And like what Adama said, sooner or later, the day will come and you can no longer hide the things that you’ve done.
Attaining a position with power is not a passport for you to abuse the power for the benefit of you and your people supporting you. Should you abuse it, then you have no right to be there in the first place. Unfortunately, even when that person was caught with his pants down, people will still justify the reasons for his actions. And some will even try to hold on to what’s left. This is when even prayers regardless of your belief, wont save you.
Karma is fair, God is fair. And it is happening right now.
Too bad some still can’t see it. Even when the light is shining right in front of them. For they are forever lost in their greed for money, and power.
